The mobile Unit for cancer prevention and fast diagnosis is a pioneering and unique organization in Greece by a patients’ association and constitutes the project’s main aim.
The mobile unit consists of a nine-seater van, supporting an electric motor system and transportation of wheelchairs, and is equipped with anything a gynecological clinic may need for the fast detection of uterus cancer, abdominal cancer, and mammograms.
The equipment consists of a state-of-the-art portable ultrasound scan with three different heads, able to hold a vaginal, abdominal and breast check-up, a gynecological chair and medical disposable material.
